YBSA members are passionate about Africa and want to be a part of its success story. They strive for opportunities to gain knowledge and experience and to develop into effective leaders. They capitalise on the valuable networking opportunities that the organisation affords them, engaging with fellow members, successful business people and high profile leaders of the day.
Since its launch in 1998 YBSA has evolved. Today, our focus is to address our continent’s most critical challenge for the future: effective leadership for Africa’s successful development.
YBSA works with partners and affiliates to deliver events, programmes and initiatives for our members that promote:
1. Continued learning, knowledge gain and academic achievement
2. A culture of the servant leader, a spirit of service leadership and a community service ethos
3. The advancement of entrepreneurship, innovation and small business
